Description

This guitar is a USA Harmony made Sovereign H-1203 that has the Fender branding on it. Made sometime in the late 1960s – early 1970s, this guitar has that tone that you would expect from a vintage acoustic guitar with ladder bracing. Has a lot of projection for an auditorium body shape.

Has a spruce top, mahogany back and sides, mahogany neck with a rosewood fingerboard.

Includes the original chipboard case.

Weighs 3 lbs 13 oz, really light!

Has recently received a neck reset and a new bone saddle. Plays and sounds great. There is some buzzing present which I determined is being caused by the pickguard.

The neck has a 1 3/4″ nylon nut on it and has a pretty sizeable C shaped neck. The frets are small but luckily in really good shape.

The dot inlay on the 15th fret has been removed, and there is some chipping in the fretboard around that same area. There are a few dings and scratches, including finish checking all around the guitar, but nothing unusual considering this is a 50+ year old guitar.
